The Government of the Principality of Kaharagia formally announces the production of the Prince’s Medal for Merit. This honour will be bestowed in the Birthday Honours List to be released on Prince’s Day, 23 October 2023.
The Medal’s obverse is meticulously designed, bearing an intricate effigy of Prince Maximilian, encircled by his name and title in the traditional Kaharaž language. The reverse features the Prince’s royal monogram. This monogram is framed by an intertwining laurel of oak and olive branches, each of significant cultural historic symbolism.
The ribbon accompanying the Medal follows a distinctive pattern of alternating yellow and black stripes – five yellow and four black. These colours not only represent the official livery of Prince Maximilian, but they also symbolise colours of the Principality of Kaharagia
The Prince’s Medal for Merit is intended to recognise individuals, both nationals and non-nationals, who have rendered significant service to the Principality of Kaharagia. The Government anticipates that this new honour will promote sustained commitment to the values of our Principality among all nationals and individuals connected to Kaharagia.
With the approach of Prince’s Day, the Government is preparing for the inaugural presentation of the Medal for Merit. This year’s Birthday Honours List represents a key moment in our principality’s history, heralding a new chapter of official recognitions and honours. The Government eagerly anticipates this significant event and its potential to inspire the wider community in our ongoing journey towards collective progress.
