The Statutes of the Royal Decoration Pro Deo et Patria establish the nature, insignia, manner of wear, and provisions governing the conferment of this dynastic distinction of honour.

Art. IEstablishmentThe Royal Decoration Pro Deo et Patria is established as a dynastic distinction of honour, instituted by the Sovereign as a personal mark of Royal favour.
Art. IINatureThe Decoration recognises distinguished service, loyalty, or devotion rendered in furtherance of the Sovereign and the Nation.
Art. IIIForm of the InsigniaThe Decoration shall consist of a gilded Cross pattée with black-enamelled arms bearing the motto PRO DEO ET PATRIA.
Art. IVThe RibbonThe Ribbon of the Decoration shall consist of yellow, black, and red stripes in prescribed proportions and colour standards.
Art. VManner of WearProvisions governing the manner of wear for gentlemen and ladies, including miniatures and uniform regulations.
Art. VIAward and RegisterThe Sovereign is the sole Fountain of Honour; awards are made by Letters Patent and recorded in the Register of Decorations.
Art. VIIRevocationThe Sovereign may revoke the Decoration for grave offence, dishonourable conduct, or conduct incompatible with its dignity.
Art. VIIIAmendmentThe Sovereign reserves the right to amend these Statutes at any time.
Art. IXEntry into ForceThese Statutes shall enter into force upon promulgation by the Sovereign.
