| Art. III | Form of the Insignia | The Decoration shall consist of a gilded Cross pattée with black-enamelled arms bearing the motto PRO DEO ET PATRIA. |
| Art. IV | The Ribbon | The Ribbon of the Decoration shall consist of yellow, black, and red stripes in prescribed proportions and colour standards. |
| Art. V | Manner of Wear | Provisions governing the manner of wear for gentlemen and ladies, including miniatures and uniform regulations. |
| Art. VI | Award and Register | The Sovereign is the sole Fountain of Honour; awards are made by Letters Patent and recorded in the Register of Decorations. |
| Art. VII | Revocation | The Sovereign may revoke the Decoration for grave offence, dishonourable conduct, or conduct incompatible with its dignity. |
