Article 38 — Movable Property

1. 1.

   Movable property comprises all corporeal things that can be moved from one place to another, and all rights not attached to immovable property.

   Where movable property is situated in a foreign jurisdiction, matters of possession, security interests, and enforcement are governed by the law of that jurisdiction to the extent mandatorily applicable.

3. 3.

   A person who possesses movable property in good faith and for value, relying upon an apparent right of the transferor, acquires good title unless the property was stolen or lost.
