Article 21 — Motto and Anthem

1. 1.

   The State has two mottoes, each having its own use.

   1. The royal and national motto is “Pro Deo et Patria” (“For God and Country”). It is the motto of the Sovereign, of the Royal House, and of the State, and it is borne upon the scroll of the achievement of the arms of Kaharagia.
   2. The civic motto is “For God, Prince, and Fatherland”. It is the motto of the Nation in civic use, and it is borne upon the insignia of the Royal Order of the Kaharagian Eagle.
2. 2.

   The national anthem of the State is “Sálža-il Káharež” (“The Song of the Kaharagians”).

3. 3.

   The authoritative text, music, and authorised versions of the motto and anthem shall be determined by Sovereign Decree and recorded in the registers of State.

4. 4.

   The Sovereign may by Sovereign Decree adopt, alter, or discontinue the motto or anthem.
