Chapter 2 — Principles

Art. 4Lawfulness of ProcessingProcessing of personal data shall be lawful only if, and to the extent that, at least one of the following conditions is met:.
Art. 5Purpose Limitation and Data MinimisationPersonal data shall be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and shall not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.
Art. 6Accuracy, Storage Limitation, and AccountabilityPersonal data shall be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date.
