Chapter 1 — Catalogue of Sanctions

Art. 10	Types of Sanctions	The following sanctions may be imposed under this Code:; No sanction imposed under this Code may amount to torture, or to cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment, in accordance with Article 32(2)(b) of the Fundamental Laws.
Art. 11	Sentencing Principles	Every sanction imposed under this Code must be proportionate to the gravity of the offence, the degree of culpability of the offender, and the circumstances of the case.
Art. 12	Fines	Fines imposed under this Code are denominated in United States dollars (USD).

Chapter 2 — Execution and Extinction of Sanctions

Art. 13	Execution of Sanctions	Fines shall be payable within ninety (90) days of the judgment becoming final, or in such instalments as the competent authority may permit.
