Chapter 1 — Royal House Law

Chapter 2 — Succession and Regency

Art. 25Automatic SuccessionUpon the demise or abdication of the Sovereign, the Crown passes immediately and automatically in accordance with Royal House Law. No interregnum shall occur.
Art. 26RegencyWhere the Sovereign is incapacitated or a minor, sovereign authority shall be exercised by a Regent in accordance with Royal House Law.
Art. 27AbdicationThe Sovereign may abdicate by solemn written instrument; The instrument shall be signed by the Sovereign and shall state the effective time of abdication; unless otherwise stated, abdication takes effect upon authentication.
