Title VIII — Jurisdiction

This title establishes the jurisdictional framework of the State, including personal jurisdiction, registration, digital governance, and relations with host jurisdictions.


Chapter 1 — Personal Jurisdiction

Chapter 3 — Voluntary Submission

Chapter 4 — Conflict of Laws

Art. 45Conflict of LawsWhere a matter involves a conflict between the laws of the State and the laws of another jurisdiction, the following rules shall apply, subject to any treaty or agreement to which the State is a party.

Chapter 5 — Digital Governance

Art. 46Digital GovernanceThe State may conduct its governance, administration, and adjudicative functions through digital platforms and electronic communications. The use of digital means does not diminish the authority or legal effect of any act of State.

Chapter 6 — Host Jurisdictions

Art. 47Relations with Host JurisdictionsKaharagian nationals are subject to the mandatory law of their respective host jurisdictions. Nothing in the laws of the State relieves a national of the obligation to comply with the law of the jurisdiction in which they are physically present.
