Article 50 - Amendment Procedure

  1. These Fundamental Laws and Principles may be amended only by solemn act of the Sovereign expressly declaring such amendment.

  2. An amendment shall identify the provisions amended, the text repealed or inserted, and the date of commencement.

  3. Amendments shall be authenticated in accordance with Article 40 and published in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette.

  4. The Sovereign may issue consolidated versions for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the authentic amending act prevails.

  5. Clerical errors may be corrected by authenticated erratum published in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette, without substantive change.
