Article 51 — Structural Continuity
- No amendment shall abrogate the unity of Crown, State, and Nation or the sovereignty vested in the person of the Sovereign.
- Any purported amendment that expressly denies these principles is null and without effect within the legal order of the State.
- This Article shall be construed as an entrenched declaration of constitutional identity, guiding all interpretation and amendment.
- Nothing in this Article prevents the Sovereign from reorganising institutions or reforming laws, provided the principles herein are preserved.
- The continuity of the Crown and the State is a fundamental premise of all law and shall not be suspended.
