This Title governs the determination of the applicable law, the recognition of foreign juridical acts and judgments, and the cooperation of the State with foreign jurisdictions in civil matters, in elaboration of Article 45 of the Fundamental Laws.
The characterisation of a legal relationship for the purposes of determining the applicable law is made according to Kaharagian law.
Where the applicable law is that of a foreign jurisdiction, it shall be applied as it would be applied by the courts of that jurisdiction, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, unless Article 45(7) of the Fundamental Laws provides otherwise.
The application of foreign law may be refused where its application would be manifestly incompatible with the public order of Kaharagia.
