Article 62 — Cooperation with Foreign Jurisdictions
The Royal Chancellery shall, where practicable, cooperate with the authorities of foreign jurisdictions in civil matters affecting Kaharagian nationals, including the service of documents, the taking of evidence, and the exchange of civil status information.
Cooperation is subject to the public order of Kaharagia and to the protection of the personal data of the persons concerned.
The State may conclude agreements with foreign jurisdictions or international organisations for the purposes of mutual legal assistance, recognition of judgments, and cooperation in civil matters.
Where this Code refers to cooperation with a host jurisdiction and the host jurisdiction does not reciprocate, the Royal Chancellery shall take such alternative measures as are available to protect the interests of the persons concerned.
