Article 8 - Embodiment of the State

The Sovereign embodies the unity, continuity, dignity, and authority of the State.

The person of the Sovereign is the living bearer of sovereign authority; the Crown is perpetual through lawful succession.

Acts performed by the Sovereign in public capacity are acts of State.

The style, titles, and insignia of the Sovereign are determined by Royal House Law or by Sovereign Decree.

Public oaths and affirmations shall be sworn to the Crown as provided by law.
