Article 13 - Acquisition of Property

Property lawfully acquired by the State becomes part of the Sovereign Domain and is administered under sovereign authority.

The State may acquire property by contract, gift, grant, exchange, confiscation or forfeiture as provided by law, succession, or any other lawful means.

Conditions attached to gifts or grants bind the State only if accepted in public capacity and to the extent consistent with these Fundamental Laws and Principles.

The acquisition and disposition of State property shall be recorded in the manner prescribed by law, including by registration where applicable.

Property acquired by an organ or official in the name of the State is deemed to be acquired by the State unless the instrument clearly provides otherwise.
