Article 1 - Legal Personality

  1. The State of Kaharagia is a sovereign legal entity possessing perpetual continuity and full legal personality.

  2. The State has capacity to acquire rights, assume obligations, hold and dispose of property, and to enter into juridical acts in accordance with law.

  3. The State acts through the Sovereign and through organs and officials exercising delegated authority; acts performed within the scope of a valid delegation are acts of the State.

  4. The name of the State is "The State of Kaharagia". "Kaharagia" may be used as a short form where the context admits.

  5. The legal personality and estate of the State are distinct from the private personality and estate of the Sovereign.
