Article 2 - Continuity

The State exists independent of the life of any individual officeholder and continues without interruption upon succession to the Crown.

The continuity of the State and of the Crown shall not be suspended by vacancy, disability, absence, dispute, or any internal event; succession occurs as provided by Royal House Law.

All public offices, commissions, and delegations continue in force upon succession until altered by the Sovereign or by law.

Rights and obligations of the State remain vested in the State notwithstanding succession, unless lawfully altered.

The seals, registers, and archives of State remain under sovereign custody and shall pass with the Crown.
