Article 7 - Purpose of Authority

Sovereign authority shall be exercised for the preservation of order, justice, continuity of the State, and the welfare of the Kaharagian Nation.

In exercising public authority, organs of the State shall act for proper purposes, in good faith, and in a manner consistent with the dignity of the Crown.

Public authority shall be exercised according to law; where the law is silent, the general principles of Kaharagian public order declared by the Sovereign shall apply.

Measures taken under public authority shall be proportionate to their lawful ends, having regard to necessity and the preservation of institutional continuity.

Nothing in this Article creates a cause of action against the person of the Sovereign.
