Article 18 - National Symbols

  1. The State shall have national symbols representing the Crown, the State, and the Kaharagian Nation.

  2. National symbols include, without limitation:

  1. the Standard of the Sovereign (Royal Standard)
  2. the National Flag (Saint Michael's Cross Flag)
  3. the Civil Flag
  4. the State Flag
  5. the Cultural Flag (Black and Gold Flag)
  6. the Banner of the Royal House (Red and Gold Banner)
  7. the Coat of Arms of Kaharagia, in its lawful forms (being the Full Achievement, the Middle Achievement, and the State Achievement, as established by Sovereign Decree SD-2026/0001)
  8. the Great Seal and other seals of State
  9. the motto ("Pro Deo et Patria")
  10. the anthem ("Sa Candha") and such other symbols as the Sovereign may designate.
  1. The form, specification, authorised variants, and protocol for the use of each national symbol shall be determined by law or by Sovereign Decree (including, without limitation, Sovereign Decree SD-2026/0002 and Sovereign Decree SD-2026/0001) and recorded in the registers of State, including any Register of Arms, Flags, and Badges established by the Sovereign.

  2. Where a national symbol is required for an official act, the authoritative version is that deposited with the competent authority and registered in accordance with Article 43 and, where appropriate, published in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette.

  3. The Sovereign may regulate and protect national symbols, including by restricting official use and by prohibiting falsification, counterfeiting, or misleading use, as provided by law.
