Article 20 — Coat of Arms, Achievements, and Great Seal

  1. The Coat of Arms of Kaharagia is the personal arms of the Sovereign and the supreme heraldic emblem of the State. The authority of the Arms derives from the person of the Sovereign and extends to the State as a whole.
  2. The blazon, forms, and specifications of the Arms are established by Sovereign Decree.
  3. The lawful forms of the Coat of Arms are:
    1. the Full Achievement, reserved exclusively to the Sovereign
    2. the Middle Achievement, reserved for official use by the Royal Court and the household of the Sovereign
    3. the State Achievement, authorised for use by Government ministries, agencies, courts, and officials acting in the name of the Crown and the State.
  4. The Great Seal is the principal instrument of authentication of Acts of State and is governed by Article 40 and by law. The Sovereign may establish a Lesser Seal and other seals of State, the custody and use of which shall be determined by Sovereign Decree.
  5. The Arms of Kaharagia are protected sovereign symbols. Any unauthorised use, distortion, or misleading display of the Arms, or counterfeiting or falsification of any seal of State, shall constitute misuse of sovereign insignia, as provided by law.
  6. The Sovereign retains sole authority to grant licences or permissions concerning the use of the Coat of Arms. The arms of members of the Royal House are governed by Royal House Law.
