Article I — Establishment

1. The Royal Decoration Pro Deo et Patria is hereby established as a dynastic distinction of honour.
2. The Decoration is instituted by the Sovereign as a personal mark of Royal favour.
3. The Decoration shall be conferred solely at the discretion of the Sovereign.
