Article II — Nature

1. The Decoration recognises distinguished service, loyalty, or devotion rendered in furtherance of the Sovereign and the Nation.
2. The Decoration does not confer nobility, rank, title, or membership in an Order of Chivalry.
3. The Decoration may be conferred upon nationals or foreign persons.
