Article 12 - Extension to Minor Children
- When a person is granted Kaharagian nationality under Articles 9, 10, or 11, any of their children who are minors at the time of the decree shall likewise acquire Kaharagian nationality, provided that:
- Parental rights or custody over the child are vested in the new national.
- The child is recorded in the National Register.

The extension of nationality to minor children shall be stated in the decree conferring nationality on the parent, or in a separate decree issued for that purpose.

A minor child who attains the age of majority may, within one year of attaining majority, elect to renounce the nationality acquired under this Article, in accordance with the procedure for voluntary renunciation set out in Article 15.
