Article 20 - Existing Nationals

1. Persons recognised as Kaharagian nationals prior to the entry into force of this Code shall be entered in the National Register without further formality, on the basis of existing decrees or records.

2. The Royal Chancellery shall, within a reasonable time after the entry into force of this Code, verify existing records and ensure that all recognised nationals are duly entered in the Register.

3. Where existing records are incomplete or ambiguous, the Chancellery may request such additional information or evidence as is necessary to confirm the person's status.
