Article 2 - Effects of Nationality
- The possession of Kaharagian nationality establishes personal status under the laws of the State and entitles the national to:
- Recognition in civil matters recorded by the State.
- Eligibility for national honours and heraldic registrations.
- Participation in cultural and civic institutions of the State.
- Access to the rights, privileges, and protections conferred by Kaharagian law.

Nationality carries with it the obligations prescribed by the Fundamental Laws and the laws of the State, including the duties of allegiance set forth in the Fundamental Laws.

The civil effects of nationality upon personal capacity, status, and juridical acts are governed by the Civil Code.

Civic and cultural participation in the life of the State may be exercised through the digital platforms, registers, consultations, assemblies, and institutional activities of the State, regardless of the place of residence of the national. The State shall facilitate meaningful participation by nationals who are dispersed among different jurisdictions.
