Article 6 — Publication and Recording

  1. Every sovereign decree conferring, confirming, or terminating nationality shall be:
    1. Published in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette. The Sovereign may, for reasons of state, dispense with or defer publication.
    2. Recorded in the National Register of Kaharagian Nationals to constitute definitive legal proof.
  2. A decree takes effect on the date specified therein or, if no date is specified, on the date of its recording in the National Register.
  3. No person shall be deemed to have acquired or ceased to hold nationality unless the acquisition or loss is duly recorded in the National Register.
